Samsung Gear S2, a second opinion

Samsung has created a beautiful smartwatch, with smooth lines and innovative elements.

The Samsung Gear S2 review has our definitive take on the new smartwatch, with all of the details covered. Being a smartwatch doesn't mean that it's less deserving of a second opinion though.

I've been using the Sony Smartwatch 3 for a while, as it was the best fit on my wrist out of the Android Wear offerings we've seen so far, but I've been looking forward to something a bit smaller and sleeker. I switched to give the Gear S2 a shot, and see if it's size and design could make up for running on Tizen instead of Android Wear. I've been using it now for a week, paired with a Samsung Galaxy S6 edge.

Here are my thoughts on the newest wrist computer from Samsung.

This skin case keeps a simple design that doesn't bulk up the Moto G 2015, but adds a light buffer for minor impacts.

Many folks, including myself, aren't looking for a rugged option to protect the Moto G 2015. With the device's already chunky design, having a slim case that adds just enough protection and grip seems like the better route to go if you have to use a case at all. Diztronic's TPU Case fits the bill nicely and doesn't feel cheap despite its affordable price point.

Enabling Android Pay loyalty card location notifications

Loyalty cards are great for earning rewards, but only if you actually remember to use them.

Using Android Pay, not only do you get to keep all of your loyalty and rewards cards together, you also can be notified when you can use the card. Simply by turning this feature on, Android Pay will let you know when and where your loyalty card can be used in the vicinity of your location. By then paying using your phone, you will earn rewards without being inconvenienced.
